We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Line Leads / Area Supervisors
The lead is responsible for managing one particular client or company department.   Responsibilities include managing all aspects of picking / packing, replenishment (put-away), shipping, returns, inventory, etc.     

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train a team of pickers / packers, manifesters, porters, etc.
  • Support the activities of the department and facilitate departmental workflow
  • Resolve issues relating to all aspects of obtaining orders, picking, packing, shipping, and tracking of outbound orders
  • Check for accuracy within the department and ensure that quality objectives are met
  • Ensure that packages are shipped appropriately
  • May utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material within the facility.
  • May operates fork lifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
  • Document and maintain inventory and ensure production area organization and cleanliness.
  • Prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversee the work product.
  • Ensure procedures are according to specifications

Business Development Manager

Dotcom Distribution is looking for a strong, proactive Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities.  To continue our growth to be a leader in third party fulfillment, we need a key individual who will want to grow with the organization and have the ability to increase revenues through idea generation and targeting prospective clients.

Job Description Summary:  The Business Development Manager will develop business opportunities by reaching out to targeted prospective clients who will include growing internet and retail businesses. The Business Development Manager works with prospective external clients or business partners to implement business development and marketing strategies in order to meet overall business goals and objectives, including enabling us to deliver a “one-stop” solution for clients interested in a turnkey solution. 

Requirements

  • Considerable knowledge of warehousing procedures
  • Minimum of five years of successful business development experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in a managerial role
  • Four year college degree
  • Out of town travel

To Succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and proactively source new clients
  • Results based self confidence, tenacity and determination to succeed
  • Expertise in generating profit through targeting clients and closing deals
  • Strong communication, presentation, written and PC skills
  • Ability to interact over the phone and in person, in order to identify and develop business opportunities. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to build relationships.
