Business Analyst

Job Descriptions Summary:  

We are looking for Business Analyst to join our growing IT team. You will become a leader in gathering business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for development, and ensuring they are tested prior to promotion to production

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and identify opportunities for Dotcom to continue to distinguish itself as the leader in third party fulfillment.
• Understand the needs of internal and external clients and recommend enhancements through the application of technologies, systems, and process changes to solve problems or enhance business processes
• Become an advanced user on our systems (OMS and WMS) in order to provide technical support for business users and for testing purposes.
• Analyze and determine root-cause for reported system issues.

Requirements:

• BS, BA, MS or MBA in a Business or IT field.
• 5+ Years of relevant experience.
• WMS and OMS experience a plus.
• MS SQL Server, SQL query skills a plus
• Experience of EDI a plus.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Relevant experience of OMS and WMS systems, and an excellent understanding of RDBMS and SDLC.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably and professionally interact with internal and external clients.
• Independent thinker with ability to work in a fast moving environment
• A personality that asks “Why?” a lot.
• The ability to work within constraints, and yet still find creative solutions.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently
