Job Description
Summary:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for
coordinating all activities of the Inventory department
including cycle counts and physical inventories.
This candidate will supervise and administer the planning
and control systems related to the complete flow of material
from receiving through shipping, as well as the associated
transactional controls required to support it.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision, coordination and review of work
completed by Inventory team.
- Manage inventory accuracy activities through
cycle counting, report results and coordinate all scheduled
and reactive cycle counts.
- Supervise and administer the planning of physical
inventories....physical inventory, scheduling, pricing,
preparation of quote and review of labor plan prior to date
of inventory. Handle
coordination of all paperwork, count sheets, entering of
data and final presentation of data to client for review.
- Coordinate and manage the daily cycle counting
process.
- Drive process improvement through analysis.
- Review of all inventory adjustments made to
inventory as a result of cycle counts and work orders.
Proper use of adjustment code and proper
documentation controls.
- Manage damaged inventory and review all products
categorized as damage with strict adherence to client damage
policy including disposal.
- Ensure item setups, including sku, are set up in
accordance to company procedures.
- Review all work order adjustments.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Supervision of approximately 3 associates.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal
skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid working knowledge of excel
- College degree preferred
