What Helped Adore Me Grow 300 Percent in One Year? Packaging.
Valentine’s Day is online lingerie retailer Adore Me’s busiest season of the year. As its fulfillment partner, we’ve helped Adore Me develop a scalable delivery strategy to ensure on-time delivery for every customer.
2015 marked our second Valentine’s Day with the lingerie brand. We partnered less than two years ago, and in that time, Adore Me has grown over 300 percent and ranks 49 on Inc.’s list of the 500 fastest growing companies.
We’re proud to have helped Adore Me grow and rethink fulfillment, the company’s last touch point with the customer. Not only have we developed an agile fulfillment plan, but we also improved Adore Me’s branded packaging. Since Adore Me is an exclusively online retailer, its packaging is vital to the customer experience since it’s the first physical impression customers have of the product. Therefore, addressing Adore Me’s packaging was one of the first steps we took with the growing retailer.
Branding packaging was always important to the retailer. However, prior to partnering with us, Adore Me’s existing packaging, while branded, often arrived at customers’ doorsteps bent of damaged. We updated their design and achieved three goals:
- Improved package stability: Our new design is much sturdier, so the package arrives intact. This gives customers the reassurance that their purchase is in great condition and high quality.
- Reduced cost: Stronger material does not have to mean more expensive. The new packaging is actually less expensive than Adore Me’s previous design.
- Advanced brand messaging: With orders arriving in a sturdy, attractive, branded gift box, the Adore Me brand is elevated in the eyes of the consumer.
